CONSISTENCY: The Undertaker and The Sower

You probably might be wondering what these two sets of people have in common, and the truth is they have a lot in common, and i really would be glad to share this with you because they represent the two classes of leaders we have;

Both the undertaker and the sower deals with digging up earth and burying stuffs underneath it, although what they bury differs - The former buries a substance that has lived it's full capacity while the latter buries what in the sense of it will unleash it's full potency only when it is being cast under the earth, which probably lasts for months or years depending on what is sown.
But even with these similitude one thing stands as major difference and it happens to be what matters the most; It is the fact that once the former buries, he never goes back to nurture and cater for what he buries because he knows that what he buried lacks the capacity to bring forth better things that will prove valuable to him. But the latter (sower) goes back consistently to check on what he sow, having the confident assurance that his seed has the capacity and potency of regenerating and reproducing fruits that has an immeasurable value which then serves as a drive in him. He believes the fact that his sustainability is dependent on what is cast beneath the earth, therefore he gives his all to nurturing it.

Have you ever thought of what will happen to seeds if the sower does not go back consistently to water it? That will make the sower no less than the undertaker!

A lot of us do things sometimes that are great, amazing and astounding, but somewhere along the way we loose the zen and zeal that starts us up in the first place. We have sown a lot of great seeds - of time, commitment, work, virtues and lots more but due to lack of consistency, we tend to loose track of our progress and we loose it which makes us no less than an Undertaker.
There is something about consistency that works like magic. At first you feel discouraged and deranged and it's okay to feel that way, those are the times when the seed is trying to get its root deep into the soil. But i can assure you that a time comes when you begin to fall in love with it. not because it comes naturally, but because the seed is sprouting out, and that kinds of give you a motivation to continue at what you are doing.
I really need to add this: as a true leader, you just cannot do without being consistent when it comes to nurturing your seeds. even when all does not seem like it, you just have to keep going on.
....and remember- just like the old saying goes: "slow and steady wins the race"
